Everything Netflix Just Announced at Tudum 2025

Netflix just pulled off its biggest fan event of the year: Tudum 2025. Hosted at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on May 31, the live event brought together stars, sneak peeks, and fans from all over the world. The stage was packed with surprises, including a performance by Lady Gaga and rapper Hanumankind, all hosted by Sofia Carson, who you probably know from Netflix favorites like ‘Purple Hearts’ and ‘Carry-On.’

If you didn’t catch it, don’t worry. We got you covered. Here’s what you missed (and what you can get excited for.)

First up, Netflix thrilled fans with a big reveal: the release dates and teaser trailer for the final season of “Stranger Things.” Season 5 will be split into three drops: Volume 1 arrives on November 26, Volume 2 premieres on Christmas Day (December 25), and The Finale heats things up on New Year’s Eve (December 31), all at 5 p.m. PT.

The plot? Hawkins is scarred from the opening of the Rifts. Vecna’s gone missing. The government’s cracking down and hunting Eleven. And with the anniversary of Will’s disappearance coming up, the suspense is building. The crew needs to band together one last time. Expect chaos, heartbreak and an epic finale.

Then came the news about Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery. Netflix announced it’s landing on December 12, 2025. Daniel Craig is back as Benoit Blanc, and he’s calling this case his “most dangerous yet.”

The cast is stacked with stars: Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church are all ready to join the fun.

If you’re into intense games, Squid Game Season 3 is coming on June 27. A brand-new trailer premiered during the event, giving us a glimpse of what’s in store for Gi-hun. Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk mentioned the season is about “what Gi-hun can and will do after all his efforts fail.” The stakes, both emotional and physical, are through the roof.

Wednesday Addams fans, rejoice: Netflix shared the first six minutes of Wednesday Season 2, premiering in two parts on August 6 and September 3. And guess what? Lady Gaga is joining as a guest star in Part 2, playing Rosaline Rotwood, a legendary Nevermore teacher. Iconic.

Fans also got a nostalgic surprise with the trailer for Happy Gilmore 2. Adam Sandler returns, and he’s bringing Julie Bowen, Ben Stiller, Christopher McDonald, and even Bad Bunny. The sequel drops on July 25. Golf legends like Rory McIlroy and Paige Spiranac even make appearances.

The event didn’t stop there. Frankenstein, directed by Guillermo del Toro, got its first teaser. The adaptation of Mary Shelley’s classic stars Oscar Isaac as Victor Frankenstein and Jacob Elordi as the Creature. The teaser showcases eerie gothic visuals and del Toro’s signature touch. Expect something haunting, emotional, and unforgettable.

One Piece fans got their moment, too. The Season 2 trailer gave us our first look at Tony Tony Chopper, voiced by Mikaela Hoover. She described the character as “a big softy” and said she believes there’s “a little Chopper in all of us.” Season 2 is already shaping up to bring even more heart and adventure.

And finally, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are teaming up again in The Rip, a gritty cop thriller set to release on January 16, 2026. Directed by Joe Carnahan, the story follows a group of Miami cops who stumble upon millions in a stash house, only to have their lives unravel as external threats close in. The film also features Steven Yeun, Kyle Chandler, Teyana Taylor, Catalina Sandino Moreno, and Sasha Calle.
