Netflix The 39 Steps Cast Includes Benendict Cumberbatch

The upcoming Netflix limited series The 39 Steps cast will include Benendict Cumberbatch. The limited series is based on the 1915 John Buchanan novel by the same name and will be directed by Berger who also worked with the Doctor Strange actor in Patrick Melrose.

The 39 Steps series sounds perfect for Benendict Cumberbatch considering the legacy of the novel carries with is snobby adaptations including one by none other than Alfred Hitchcock in 1935. It’s going to be a WW1 era spy thriller following Richard Harry who is hop to some global conspiracy. This shouldn’t take away from his time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as he will appear as Doctor Strange again in Spiderman: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
