Netflix July 2023 Releases: Our Picks for What to Watch

With July around the corner, Netflix announced its long-awaited list of new arrivals, with movies, series, new seasons, and documentaries dropping on the platform. LATV has put together a compilation of some of these productions to add to next month’s must-watch list.

Deep Fake Love / Falso Amor – July 6th

This Spanish dating reality series, whose episodes will air weekly, will have you guessing what is actually real. Presented by Raquel Sánchez Silva, five couples discover what it is like to live in a tropical paradise with the other contestants. However, there is a small trap: they must determine if what they see is true and or if it is all fake.

Technology will come into play for the first time on a reality show. Advanced deepfake software has collected data on the protagonists’ movements, features, gestures, and expressions and recreated exact replicas of themselves. Couples will put their relationship to the test with risque videos, according to the preview published by Netflix, which include kissing, masturbation, or sexual relations, which in many cases have been distorted or created entirely through AI.
