And just like that, we’re officially in the back half of 2025 and Netflix is ready to deliver. As the streaming giant gears up for its biggest releases of the year, July is shaping up to be packed with fan-favorite series returns, buzz-worthy movies, and bold new originals. From long-awaited sequels to major docuseries, here’s a look at everything landing on Netflix this July:

July 2nd

The Old Guard 2 (2025) – Charlize Theron returns as Andy in this action-packed sequel. Five years after the original, this installment sees the immortal warriors battling a new enemy and facing the unexpected return of a long-lost immortal. Expect more high-stakes drama and stunning fight choreography.

July 3rd

The Sandman (Season 2 – Volume 1) – The fan-favorite fantasy series returns with the first of three volumes. This season kicks off with the iconic “Season of Mists” storyline from Neil Gaiman’s comics, featuring Morpheus as he grapples with old family ties and moral dilemmas.
