Natanael Cano Reveals His Most Awkward Recording Sessions, Nicky Jam Included!

Mexican rapper, singer and songwriter Natanael Cano wakes up to be active and expressive, all about music and work. He’s creative and focused on his music and the people he’s working with.
The Latinx star seems a little serious with some people, but according to what he told LATV’s AK on Cultura Shock, he’s amicable, arrogant only on social media, he’s as simple and cool as any of us: eating sandwiches and Maruchans with salsa Valentina, limon, salsa china,Tajin and clamato.
Can you get any more real than that? Well, yes.. Natanael revealed how recording with Nicky Jam did not go as planned.
“When I recorded with Nicky Jam, I didn’t make the beat, I didn’t like the beat,” he says. “It was a low point in my career, I was like let’s go (leaves)… When I recorded with Nicky Jam, a very talented person, it was bad, I love Nicky Jam. But it happens, and I can say it now!,” he shares as an anecdote adding he learned many lessons from it that still applies to this day.
“The most difficult part was not accepting being famous, having the money and just not accepting the new things in life. But when I accepted it, it i was like ‘I’m gonna keep going!’”
After all of the lessons learned, his música like corridos and trap are his thing and it reflects it in his new album ‘NataKong’ at 21 years old, which happens to be connected to his family’s birthdays.
Nata keeps working pridefully to keep building this legacy. Check out the full interview now on LATV.
