Mother’s Day 2023: Here’s how some of our Favorite Celebs Honored the Day

Mother’s Day is a special occasion that is celebrated around the world to recognize and appreciate the love, sacrifice, and hard work of all mothers. This year was no exception, as people from all walks of life honored their moms in different ways.

Our favorite celebrities also celebrated Mother’s Day in a number of different ways. From heartwarming messages posted on social media to sharing special moments with their moms, celebrity moms and their children made this day unforgettable. Let’s take a look at some of the most heartwarming Mother’s Day celebrations by our beloved latino celebrities.

Maluma

The Colombian artist shared in a few of his Instagram stories the huge event he had organized for his mom Marlli, which included long, wooden tables, lots of chairs, a queen’s throne, and a ginormous sign that said “Feliz Día,” all under a sweeping canopy.

Maluma also posted several heartwarming pictures on his feed with his mom, from when he was little to now. “THANK YOU MOTHER FOR EXISTING!! I will forever be your child and forgive me for being so foolish,” he wrote.

Natti Natasha

Natti Natasha also received gifts, a cake, a card, and lots of lovely balloons from her husband and father of her daughter Vida Isabelle, Puerto Rican producer Raphy Pina, who is currently imprisoned.

Although Daddy Yankee’s goddaughter is not even two years old yet, little Vida also gave her famous mother a gift: an adorable painting with her handprints in the center. Natti shared the sweet, touching moment when she received the present on her social media.

In a different post, she posed together with Vida in a charming selfie and wrote an emotional message: “Well my Pa’ told me to steal a few hours from Ma’ on her work IG to tell her Happy Mother’s Day! Everyone put “I love you” and the name of your Mamacitas here!”

Jennifer Lopez

As she just recently became “The Mother,” the name of her new movie on Netflix where she plays an assassin that has to protect her daughter, JLO used this special day to promote the film.

On her social media, she posted several Instagram stories and reels showcasing the movie to encourage people to go celebrate Mother’s Day by watching it. However, she also shared a post to honor her own mom Guadalupe.

Becky G

Although her life recently did a 180 due to her fiance’s cheating scandal, Becky G always has someone there by her side: her mom Alejandra. Through several stories on her Instagram, Becky showcased the similarities and love that bring them together. “Proud to be your daughter. You’ve always supported me through it all in everything I love & dream of. I thank you from the bottom of my heart,” she wrote.

Evaluna Montaner and Camilo

The singer celebrated her second Mother’s Day by sharing several precious pictures of her toddler daughter Indigo, when she was still pregnant with her, and a touching dedication to her mother, Marlene.

However, the most endearing moment for the family was when her husband, singer Camilo, wrote a long, heartfelt text for Evaluna, his own mother Lía, and his mother-in-law.

“EvaLuna. You are the fertile soil, you are the flower too, the rain that waters it, the shadow that takes care of it from the sun. I feel that you are everything, you are unlimited… and it’s not even hard for you at all, because God lives exceeding Himself in you!! He literally overdid it with you!!

You are the home where Indigo and I rest. You are the mother of the hive.

And mom, mom, you stood in line for two days so I could have a chance to sing. That describes who you are. You worked so hard to get us ahead and give us the best of childhoods. And Marlene… Marli, even though you don’t like me calling you that… of all the millions of things you’ve created, your masterpiece is your daughter, your family.
