Mayans M.C. Murals Pop Up in East LA

The Eastside of LA just got a little more color thanks to a partnership between the National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts and FX. Under the Los Angeles Murals Project, the organization has crafted new murals depicting some Mayans M.C. inspired works throughout LA’s Chicano communities. The artwork is now displayed in Boyle Heights, Echo Park, and Silverlake.

To bring these works to life, the project enlisted local artists Lalo Alcaraz, Levi Ponce, and Sonia Romero to design the pieces reflecting the community. Each piece features characters from the show played by cast members Carla Baratta, JD Pardo, and Edward James Olmos.

Check out the work from the artists themselves!
