Donald Glover hires Malia Obama for Amazon Project

After interning on the HBO series Girls, 22-year-old Harvard graduate Malia Obama is beefing up her entertainment resume by teaming up on an Amazon Prime project with Donald Glover. Glover, who is fresh off of the success of Atlanta just inked an eight-figure deal with Amazon to develop series with them. As reported in the New York Post, insiders are speculating Glover and President Obama’s daughter will collaborate on living “Hive” which is rumored to be a series revolving around a Beyonce-like character. Malia Obama is expected to join the writer’s room of the series. Meanwhile, Glover is preparing for the premiere of the Mr. and Mrs. Smith remake starring alongside Phoebe Walter-Bridge.
