Luz Films Breaks New Ground With Sundance Darling ‘In The Summers’

Luz Films, a groundbreaking entertainment company dedicated to spotlighting the voices of the Latino creative community in the film and TV space. Led by co-CEOs Lynette Coll, and Sergio Lira, Luz Films (recently spotlighted HERE), is making waves in the industry by championing diversity and authentic storytelling. Their upcoming film In The Summers, starring Rene “Residente” Perez, Sasha Calle, and Leslie Grace, is set to make its World Premiere at Sundance showcasing their commitment to amplifying underrepresented narratives.

“While Latinos are one of the fastest-growing communities in the United States, representation for storytellers in the community lags behind other demographics,” the trio shared in a statement to Deadline Magazine.
