Lunay Teams Up with Latino Artists for an Experience Full of Ritmo y Color

Lunay is one of the breakout artists at the top of his reggaeton game. With flow, art, music and now his own McDonald’s meal, the Puerto Rican star continues to be on the rise.
Lunay, whose real name is Jefnier Osorio Moreno, is proud of being one of the top Latino music artists in the scene now. But what really embodies an “artist” according to him? For Lunay, his artistry comes from soccer and food, to making people laugh and, of course, his beats.
This time around, the “Soltera” interpreter is in for a new art project along with McDonald’s and two Latino painters for McD’s art and music program Ritmo y Color, which is back and reloaded with a fresh, star-studded lineup of Latino musical and visual storytellers, including Miami-based visual artist Ivan Roque and Dallas based artis Dora Reynosa.
“I had tears of joy. Is a moment when you ‘make it’ and my art has transcended to this leve, I’m able to spread a message and have an opportunity for the world to see my art.” – Ivan
“Unity is the power that Latinos have. Arriving in the U.S. you see a Mexican, a Colombian, a Venezuelan and that feeling of community is the strongest trait we can have.” – Dora
McDonald’s is a symbol for immigrants, some of the first meals we ever had in the U.S. and for Lunay, it means family bond with his abuela. What would he put in his Happy Meal? ¡Dinero! “I would give money back to the people,” he told LATV’s Cultura Shock. “My grandma used to put in a few dollars in my meal when she sent me off to school.”
A true work of art deserves its own playlist. To add Ritmo to the Color, two of today’s leading Latin Urban voices in music will bring to life a music experience that will complement McDonald’s visual storytellers. Tune in to YouTube on July 28th for Lunay’s Ritmo y Color concert experience, and for now, watch the full interview with Lunay on LATV.com.
