Who got closure (and who didn’t) at the Love Is Blind S9 reunion?

After a season filled with ghostings, chicken smoothies, and zero “I do’s,” the Love Is Blind Season 9 reunion finally gave fans the closure (and chaos) they’d been waiting for. Filmed live with hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey in front of a rowdy Denver audience, the cast didn’t waste time before diving into the drama. Rings were tossed, apologies exchanged, and at least one major baby announcement left the room gasping.
But before the fireworks, everyone wanted to know one thing: Where’s Ali?
Ali Lima: The Latina who said “no” — and stood by it
Season 9’s only Latina, Ali Lima, came in as a fan favorite from day one. The Brazilian-born nurse and her Russian fiancé Anton Yarosh were the first couple to get engaged in the pods: a cross-cultural love story that had viewers rooting for them all the way to the altar. But when Ali ultimately walked away, she did it with her trademark humor and poise.
At the reunion, Ali explained that it wasn’t just about Anton’s past or the rumors surrounding his “party lifestyle.” It was something much simpler, and funnier. “When he wore flip-flops in Baja for our first encounter,” she told the audience, “I knew it wasn’t forever. The piggies were out.”

Ali, who’s since gone back to focusing on her nursing career in Denver, joked that she’s “happily single, with all ten toes covered.” Meanwhile, Anton confirmed he’s been in a new relationship for a year… and yes, he’s retired the flip-flops.
Sparkle Meg’s glittery baby surprise
If anyone stole the reunion, it was Megan “Sparkle Meg”, who arrived glowing… literally and emotionally. Between jokes and tears, she revealed that she’d secretly had a baby boy, Brooks, just two and a half months ago. “It was a very emotional day, and I was questioning a lot of things,” she said. “Now I know more than ever that I was put on earth to be a mom.”
The announcement left her pod friends stunned and slightly roasted. “That’s why you got so thic,” joked KB from across the couch. Megan’s new partner, Paul, sat proudly in the audience. The two met through mutual friends after filming and got pregnant three months into dating.
#RingGate ends on the court
One of the night’s funniest moments came when Patrick and Kacie finally settled their long-standing “ring drama.” After ghosting and miscommunication post-show, Patrick wanted his engagement ring back and Kacie delivered it in dramatic fashion. “I feel like Sméagol with the ring,” she laughed, handing “my precious” to the hosts.
To ease the tension, NBA star Chris Paul joined the stage for a free-throw contest. One shot later, Kacie nailed it (literally) and Patrick handed her the ring right back. Love may not have lasted, but at least Denver can still shoot their shot.

“ChatGPT could’ve written your vows”
The reunion also addressed one of the season’s strangest love triangles: Nick, Kait, and Annie. Kait accused Nick of “love bombing,” saying, “It felt like you went into ChatGPT and looked up pickup lines for how to get a girl to fall for you.”
Nick apologized for the overlap in connections, while Annie, who ultimately accepted his proposal, admitted she’d been forcing the relationship. “I just wanted to try a bit more,” she said. Spoiler alert: it didn’t work.
“You get an apology, you get an apology!”
One of the most uncomfortable moments of the season, Joe’s comments about Madison’s body, came back in full force. Madison called out how hurtful it was to watch those clips. Joe owned up to it, saying, “I deeply apologize,” while admitting they “fought and had sex more than anything else.”
He also apologized to his podmate Nick for some backhanded confessionals. The two hugged it out, confirming there was “no bad blood.” Growth? In this economy? We’ll take it.
The pool party that became a soap opera
Apparently, the drama didn’t end when the cameras did. Mike’s summer pool party turned into a mini-reunion of its own, complete with tears, tequila, and tangled timelines. According to Madison, Kacie claimed they were “Eskimo sisters” before breaking down over Joe, who arrived with his new girlfriend.
Joe insists there was no overlap, but Madison wasn’t convinced. “You have your perspective,” she told him, “and I have my truth.” Classic Love Is Blind energy.

Edmond’s tears and KB’s closure
Not all moments were messy, some were just emotional. Kalybriah and Edmond, whose pod connection had fans swooning early on, shared a heartfelt exchange about how their relationship fell apart. “You used your emotions to manipulate the situation,” she told him. Edmond disagreed, but the two ended on a surprisingly sweet note, hugging as Edmond told her, “I would never have gotten a woman like you if it weren’t for this experience.”
Blake’s redemption arc
And yes, Blake, Season 9’s original ghost, actually showed up this time. After disappearing on Megan during filming, he later reached out to apologize. The two shared margaritas (and closure) off-camera. Jordan, ever the comic relief, joked that at least this time, “the only thing Blake ghosted was his margarita salt.”
Season 9 will go down as one of Love Is Blind’s messiest, and most entertaining, chapters. From Ali’s iconic “flip-flop” dealbreaker to Meg’s surprise baby, it had everything: drama, redemption, and even basketball.
And while no one left the reunion with a new fiancé, at least the Denver cast left with something better: closure (and maybe a little bit of therapy).
