Los Angeles Tourism is About to Get A Super Bowl LVI Facelift

The Super Bowl is about to take place in Los Angeles next weekend and the tourism boards are not complaining.
It’s no secret that big sporting events bring a wide range of tourists, benefiting local business, the hospitality industry and Angelinos take advantage of the great opportunity. Even though the Omicron variant is still in circulation, football fans are willing to risk it all and get creative to make the best of the hype of the SBLVI in the City of Angels.
Hotel prices are about four times the region’s median rate, therefore Airbnb and Vrbo homey spots are becoming more accessible (and interesting, to be honest) because there’s nothing like experiencing a new city and “living” like a local, even if it’s only for a few days.
Just ask travel industry entrepreneur Susana Zazueta, who, as an Angelina herself, is very excited for L.A. visitors to discover all of the hidden gems that this beautiful city has to offer.

“Having so many travelers come to Los Angeles is exhilarating! This week is a great opportunity to discover new places in the City of Angels. As an avid traveler, I know how important it is for travelers to discover the hidden gems when visiting a new city. Let me offer some of my favorite Los Angeles travel discoveries,” says Susana referring to Discoverlist, an app she founded off of her passion for traveling and for helping others save time (and the hustle) of finding what to do in a city. You must now be wondering how Discoverlist works?
Let the expert explain:
“For example, want to go to the beach? Check out Dockweiler Beach in El Segundo where you could not only enjoy the beach but also have a bonfire at the fire pits located onsite. Do you love seeing airplanes take off like I do? Sit at the benches located on a hill across from LAX, where you can see them take off- my favorite! You can find out about these hidden gems and more on the Discoverlist app, the traveler’s platform to share trip recommendations with friends.”
There are so many different things to do in Los Angeles every weekend, but it’s also Valentine’s Day Weekend! If you’re traveling with your partner, make sure to visit Hollywood, enjoy the pleasant weather on a Runyon Canyon hike, drive down Sunset Boulevard and dream together walking along Star Walk on Hollywood Blvd. Take a picture with Adam Levine’s star while you’re at it —He’s just my personal favorite.

While you’re in Hollywood, visit the Griffith Observatory in the evening to watch the starry sky.
Day or night, you can get an incredible view of the city, the Pacific Ocean and even the Hollywood sign. Without a doubt, this observatory is one of the favorite settings for couples —and also if you’re on a girls trip. All Galentine’s are welcome!
Make your way out to the West Side.
Santa Monica has multiple attractions such as the beach that offers all the necessary services to swimmers, the aquarium, the amusement park and the woodenly famous Santa Monica Pier. What’s a beach city without a view of the ocean from the Ferris Wheel. Bring your appetite because you’ll find street vendors with all kinds of foods you’ll wanna try.
Stay in the West but keep driving north and you’ll be heading to Malibu and a few beaches that were meant for the most romantic.
With crystal-clear waters and magical caves, El Matador Beach, will help you get closer to your boo. If you go at sunset time, the view will be dreamy, however bring blankets, wear a sweater and get ready for cold water —don’t be fooled by California’s sunny beaches, the temperature will drop at sunset and you’ll be experiencing the four seasons in one day. If you feel inspired by the view of your partner next to the beach (ahem) this could be a great time to propose… or renew your vowels, you know what I mean.
