LatiNation Original Short Film ‘Aho’ To Premiere at New York Psychedelic Film Festival

LatiNation Original Short Film ‘Aho’ To Premiere at New York Psychedelic Film Festival

The short comedy film ‘Aho’ – originally presented by LATV Network on last year’s LatiNation short film special – will take a turn on the festival circuit. It will be featured at The Psychedelic Film and Music Festival in New York City running from December 11th – 12th.

The short film written and co-directed by myself (Humberto Guida) and award-winning cinematographer Mark Kohl, stars LATV’s own Bruno Seros-Ulloa of Brunovision. Aho is a comedy about what happens when a curious but self-doubting young man in search of a spiritual transformation heads up to Topanga, where he reluctantly attends his first ayahuasca ceremony…which does not go as planned. Considering that the therapeutic use of ayahuasca has been increasingly chronicled in the mainstream media, Aho comes at a timely moment when more interest into what exactly happens during an ayahuasca ceremony is peaking. Recently, Will Smith published a book in which he became the latest celebrity to come out publicly about personal use of the plant medicine as a means of deep healing and self-improvement.

The Psychedelic Film Festival is an exploration of altered states of consciousness achieved through psychedelics, film, music, art, virtual reality and other mediums. New York peeps come catch us in person. We’ll be there for our screening Saturday at The Psychedelic Film and Music Festival in New York City next month.
