Latinas: The Rising Power in Wealth! A New ‘Get it Girl! Episode with Special Guest Kiley Opsal

Latinos are on track to accumulate $113 trillion dollars of wealth by 2050. That’s a significant amount, and neither brands nor politicians should overlook this fact. Within the Latino community, Latinas are making the majority of household decisions.

Despite our community growing three times faster than any other ethnicity, there aren’t more Latino billionaires. This is largely due to the mindset passed down from our abuelos/as, characterized by a sense of scarcity and working for others instead of embracing an entrepreneurial spirit. However, this is changing with the new generation of Latinos.

In our Girl Talk session in the latest episode of Get it Girl!, Stephanie, Britni, and Aliyah discussed finances and how the mindset they inherited from their parents is evolving into one of abundance. Here are three key practices we can all adopt:

1. Embrace Gratitude: Being grateful for what you have attracts more things to be grateful for.
2. Give from the Heart: When you give selflessly, the universe gives back to you.
3. Stop Chasing Status: Pursue wealth for the right reasons. If your goal is to gain wealth for status and selfish reasons, it won’t last.
