Meet The Latina Immigration Lawyer who is Making the Impossible, Possible

Meet The Latina Immigration Lawyer who is Making the Impossible, Possible

You’re about to be introduced to the Latina attorney behind some of the most complicated immigration cases.  Alexandra Lozano’s law firm is one of the largest immigration clinics in the country. Her specialties cover all phases of the immigration and personal accident proces with focus is on the Latino community living in the United States. Clients call her the “Miracle Lawyer” because of her 10+ year track record of winning immigration cases that were considered “impossible” to win.

We got a change to chat with her, get to know her below:

Tell us where you are from, what’s your family background story?

My grandmother gained legal status in the U.S. through asylum and as a result, I grew up understanding the often stark reasons that one is forced to flee his or her homeland.  My decision to become an immigration lawyer has been fueled by my grandmother and all of the men and women who have had to make heartbreakingly difficult decisions in search of a better life.
As a teenager, I went on a trip to Belize and a woman came to me with her child in her arms and asked me to please bring him with me to the United States. That experience broke my heart and marked my entire life. I knew that I wanted to fight for human rights so that no person would ever feel like survival meant making such a decision.
What are some of the immigration loopholes people can get stuck into?
Sadly a lot of people have lost hope and think that their cases are “impossible.” They give up even trying. I want all people who are undocumented to have hope and to continue to look for options even if they think that there is no way.

You have been named the “Miracle Lawyer.” Can you tell us about that?

My clients call me the “Miracle Lawyer” because we gain legal status for clients with cases that are supposedly impossible. We have an incredible team and we are constantly abreast of all of the changes in immigration law. We are zealous advocates and pride ourselves for asking tough questions to look for results.
What type of events do you offer for the community?
We often offer consultations for FREE for the community. We are dedicated to turning “nos” into “yeses” and we want to ensure that the community has access to excellent legal information that will hopefully change their lives for the better.

What advice would you give to undocumented immigrants who might not know where to start?

Follow us on social media! I answer a lot of questions there and give a lot of information. It allows a person to get informed and feel comfortable when taking that next step.
