Father of The Bride’ Gets a Latin Twist

One of America’s favorite movies has been spiced up with some Latin flavor in this brand new take! Andy Garcia, Gloria Estefan, Adria Arjona, Isabela Merced and Diego Boneta are the stars of this endearing remake that follows a long-married couple from the Miami suburbs, Billy (Andy Garcia) and Ingrid (Gloria Estefan) who are surprised by their eldest daughter Sofia’s announcement (Adria Arjona); she announces a new boyfriend, Adan (Diego Boneta)—who is now her fiancé— and their plans for a shotgun wedding and a new life together in Mexico, where Adan’s family is from.

Sofia’s quickfire revelations keep Billy and Ingrid from making their own important disclosure—that they’re calling quits on their marriage—but both agree to delay the news and play the loving couple for the benefit of their family. After all, who wants to break their daughter’s heart when she is about to get married?

A modern rom-com with a lot of “sabor” – and you are going to love how this Latin family is being portrayed!
