Our Bold Predictions for the 2025 Latin GRAMMY Awards

As the Latin Recording Academy begins its march toward the 2025 Latin Grammy Awards on Nov. 13, anticipation is building over who will take home this year’s most coveted honors.
With the eligibility period spanning June 1, 2024, to May 31, 2025, this past year has seen a flood of major releases: from returning giants like Bad Bunny, whose Debí Tirar Más Fotos cemented his dominance as the voice of a generation, to timeless icons like Gloria Estefan, whose Raíces bridges eras of Latin sound and storytelling.
The leading nominees this year include Bad Bunny (12), Edgar Barrera (10), Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso (10), Rafa Arcaute (8), Natalia Lafourcade (8), and Federico Vindver (8). The ceremony will take place at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena, broadcast live on Univision and hosted by Maluma and Roselyn Sánchez.
Here are our bold predictions for the winners in the four main categories:

Bad Bunny’s sixth album feels less like a commercial statement and more like a personal manifesto. Debí Tirar Más Fotos is his most introspective and musically adventurous project yet: a blend of salsa, classic reggaetón, plena, trap, jazz, and R&B that doubles as a love letter to Puerto Rico.

The album explores themes of memory, identity, and belonging, while spotlighting young Puerto Rican talent. Tracks like Baile Inolvidable and DtMF (both also nominated for Song and Record of the Year) showcase his versatility and command of cultural context.
Even without the gravitational pull of his global fame, this record’s artistic scope and cultural grounding make it an obvious frontrunner. Debí Tirar Más Fotos doesn’t just confirm Bad Bunny’s evolution, it reaffirms his place as Latin music’s most vital storyteller.
