His latest album, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, earned a nomination for Album of the Year, while his singles “BAILE INoLVIDABLE” and “DTmF” both landed in the categories of Record of the Year and Song of the Year, giving him double chances at some of the most prestigious awards of the night. These new nominations bring his career total to fifty-two, of which he has already won twelve throughout the years.

Close behind him is Edgar Barrera, one of the most sought-after producers and songwriters in the industry, and the Argentine duo CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, each of whom secured ten nominations.

Barrera, who topped the nominations list over the past two years, once again finds himself in contention for both Songwriter of the Year and Producer of the Year, thanks to his extensive work with stars such as Karol G, Shakira, Maluma, Fuerza Regida, and Grupo Frontera. Meanwhile, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso continue their rise with their acclaimed album Papota, nominated for Album of the Year, while their tracks “El Día Del Amigo” and “#Tetas” each received recognition in both the Record and Song of the Year categories.

The Album of the Year lineup reflects the extraordinary diversity that has become a hallmark of the Latin Grammys. Alongside Bad Bunny and CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, the category includes projects by Rauw Alejandro, Gloria Estefan, Vicente García, Joaquina, Natalia Lafourcade, Carín León, Liniker, Elena Rose, and Alejandro Sanz. The mix of legendary figures and new voices highlights the wide spectrum of genres and cultural roots shaping Latin music today.

What’s new?

This year also brings the introduction of two brand-new categories: Best Music for Visual Media and Best Roots Song. These additions recognize both the growing importance of Latin music in film, television, and streaming, and the enduring relevance of traditional sounds that continue to influence new generations of artists.

One of the most anticipated races is for Best New Artist, where ten emerging names are competing for the spotlight: Alleh, Annasofia, Yerai Cortés, Juliane Gamboa, Camila Guevara, Isadora, Alex Luna, Paloma Morphy, Sued Nunes, and Ruzzi. The category has become a launching pad for future stars, and this year’s nominees reflect the global breadth of Latin music’s new wave.

Other artists and creators also scored multiple nominations, underscoring the competitive nature of the awards. Rafa Arcaute, Natalia Lafourcade, Roberto Rosado, and Federico Vindverm each earned eight mentions, while MAG collected seven. Liniker and Lewis Picket followed with six nominations apiece, and Gino Borri and Vicente Jiménez received five each. Antonio Caraballo, Joaquina, Elena Rose, and Alejandro Sanz each picked up four nominations, while Andrés Cepeda, Karol G, and Carín León received three. With two nominations each are Akapellah, Rauw Alejandro, Rubén Blades, Gloria Estefan, Mon Laferte, Maluma, Fito Páez, and several more.
