Latin Grammys 2021 Nominees

On Tuesday, September 28, the Latin Recording Academy announced Latin Grammys 2021 nominees with the singer-songwriter Camilo leading the list with 10 nods. And, that includes nominations in the song, record, and album of the year categories.
The next artist that comes after Camilo in nods is the tropical musician Juan Luis Guerra with six nods, C. Tangana, the Spanish rapper with 5 nods, and several artists with four nods and that includes Bad Bunny.
The new best artist category, which was won by Mike Bahia the previous year is led by Bizarrap, the artist-producer from Argentine. Also, he is nominated for the best producer of the year and includes other contenders such as Boza from Panama, Maria Becerra from Argentine, and Paloma Mami, the singer-songwriter from Chile.
When are the Latin Grammys 2021?
The Grammys Latino 2021 air live on November 18 on the Univision network from 8 pm EST. Interestingly, the nominations for the Grammys Latino 2021 appear to lean towards reflecting tradition, fusions, and a new Latin pop movement in association with urban innovators.

Giulia Be – This 20-year old, Brazilian trilingual singer has a soulful voice and can play several musical instruments. She started her career in 2019 and became one of the popular female artists.
Rita Indiana – Known for non-conforming sexuality, this Dominican artist was signed recently by Warner Chappell Music. Also, she authored the Spanish novel Tentacle and Papi.
Humbe – Making rounds with “Entropia”, singer-songwriter Humbe has become popular in Mexico after grabbing awards at the MTV MIAW Awards 2021 and Nickelodeon Kids Choice.
Zoe Gotusso – This singer-songwriter hails from Cordoba in Argentina whose soft vocals give life to the lyrics full of melodies and nostalgia.
Marco Mares – Started his musical career in Mexico, Marco Mares debuted in 2014 with Para Ella. It showcased his funky pop and romantic lyrics, all in one.
Lasso – This Venezuelan singer-songwriter has over 2 million listeners per month on Spotify. Also, he collaborated with artists such as Micro TDH, Danna Paola, and others.
Juliana Velásquez – Making her way to the pop realm, this Colombian singer released her debut album earlier in 2021, which included collaborations with Los Rumberos and Juan Pablo Vega.
Paloma Mami – The viral success of her independently produced music video “Not Steady” led to a deal with Sony Music in 2018. Paloma Mami sings in Spanglish and creates edgy fusions with instruments.
