The Latin American Music Awards Are Almost Here

Get ready to dance to the beat of Latin music tonight, with the Latin AMAS. The show will have worldwide stars Pitbull, Natti Natasha and Wisin, and a celebration in honor of David Bisbal’s 20-year career!

The eighth edition of the annual award show has turned up the heat and is set to deliver a powerful multicultural experience.

Here are the highlights:

• Iconic Sinaloa group Banda El Recodo will pay homage to Pepe Aguilar with their rendition of the ranchera legend’s hit song Son Las Dos De La Mañana. This year, the Madre De Todas Las Bandas is up for “Best Regional Mexican Collaboration.”

• Five-time nominated Sonora singer-songwriter Carin León will deliver an unforgettable performance of Mil Maneras de Morir and the TV debut of Que Vuelvas alongside one of the most nominated acts of the night Grupo Frontera. León will also be part of Pepe Aguilar’s special moment with their interpretation of Perdóname.

• Puerto Rican star Chesca, and one of Urban music’s most promising names Dalex will give audiences the TV debut of their most recent collaboration Easy.

• Spanish trailblazer David Bisbal will receive a Latin AMAs – Pioneer recognition for his outstanding contributions to Latin music throughout his 20-year career. Bisbal will then get the crowd moving with a medley of his greatest hits.

• Legendary urbano hitmakers DJ Luian and Mambo Kingz will take the stage alongside reggaeton titan Anuel AA for the performance of Más Rica Que Ayer.

• Rapidly emerging Norteño band Grupo Frontera will perform the highly anticipated TV debut of No Se Va. Grupo Frontera is one of the most nominated artists of the night with eight nods.

• Aside from her role as show host, global Latin recording artist Natti Natasha will deliver the worldwide premiere of her upcoming single. This year, the Dominican powerhouse has three nominations including “Best Urban Artist.”

• The incomparable Mr. Worldwide Pitbull will hype up the MGM Grand Garden Arena in true 305 fashion with a dynamic worldwide premiere that will feature special surprise guests. This year, Pitbull is up for “Best Pop/Urban Collaboration” for his hit Hot with Daddy Yankee.

• Wisin, one of the most influential artists in the urban genre and three-time LATIN AMAs winner, will deliver the TV debut of his upcoming single with Anuel AA, Mi Ex, as well as Tu Recuerdo alongside Argentine pop star Emilia.
