Los Horóscopos de Durango Bring Their Legacy Back to the Stage

Vicky and Marisol Terrazas Reunite for La Gira de Oro Tour

Los Horóscopos de Durango, one of the most iconic Duranguense bands, are back. After selling out their July 18 show at The Novo in Los Angeles in record time, sisters Marisol and Vicky Terrazas announced new dates for their anticipated reunion tour celebrating their 50th anniversary, titled “La Gira de Oro – Antes Muertas Que Sencillas.”

Originally planned as a single concert, excitement skyrocketed, leading to a second show added for July 19 at the same venue. The Los Angeles performances will also include a special celebration for Vicky Terrazas’s birthday, making these dates even more special for their fans.

This tour marks a significant comeback for the Terrazas sisters, who have pursued independent music careers in recent years. Vicky dedicated herself to motherhood after the birth of her son, while Marisol continued her career as a singer and multi-instrumentalist. Although both have continued to release music as solo artists, the excitement of reuniting with their audience and reliving the hits that made them famous is unparalleled.

The tour not only celebrates the musical legacy of Los Horóscopos de Durango since their founding in 1975 by Armando Terrazas, but also the family bond and constant support of their fans. Songs like “Antes Muertas Que Sencillas” and other classics from the group will form part of a repertoire that promises to thrill and get different generations dancing.

Among the cities included in this extended tour are Phoenix, El Paso, Fresno, San José, and a very special stop in Chicago, the city where the Terrazas sisters currently reside and which has become their second home.

Before they embark on their 10 day tour, Vicky and Marisol stopped by LatiNation and we had the chance to talk about their excitement, stories from the past, and what it means for them to be back on stage together. Get ready for an unforgettable tour!
