La Liga Champion 2021: Who will it be?

As Spanish soccer league La Liga enters its final week of competition, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid are set to add yet another chapter to their storied rivalry.

Currently, only two points separate the clubs, with Atletico (25-8-4, 83 points) holding the edge over Los Blancos (24-9-4, 81 points).

In order to secure their first league title since 2013-14, Los Rojiblancos have to get past Real Valladolid, who currently sit in 19th place, and need a win (along with some help from Athletic Club and Valencia) to avoid relegation.

“Two teams are fighting for different goals, and both will give their lives to reach their goals,” said Atletico manager Diego Simeone.

Real, meanwhile, will have their hands full as they take on Villareal, who are currently seventh and will be playing in the Europa League Final next week.

While Atletico can lose and still win the title, Real must win in order to have a chance. If both clubs end up with the same number of points after tomorrow, Real would win the title, as they hold the tie breaker, courtesy of their 2-1 win over Atletico in December.

Both matches begin at 12 p.m. EST, and will be televised on beIN Sports.
