We Get Up Close and Personal with Korean Rock Band ‘The Rose’

Since their debut a few years ago, The Rose has stood out as one of the most successful Korean pop-rock bands. Their single “Sorry” has been chosen as one of the best K-pop songs by Billboard and now the group is at LATV studios for a catch up.

Who are the members of The Rose?
Before being The Rose, the band moved in the indie scene as Windfall with only three members: Dojoon, Hajoon and Jaehyeong. Then Woosung joined and the official debut with “Sorry.”
California-born Woosung Kim is the lead singer of The Rose and plays electric guitar in the band. He had a solo debut in 2019 with the EP “Wolf.” In addition, he has performed OSTs for the k-dramas “Catch the ghost,” “Psychopath diary,” and “Itaewon Class.”
Dojoon Park is also one of the vocalists for The Rose. He plays acoustic guitar and keyboard.
Hajoon Lee plays drums in the band and composed The Rose’s debut song that was mentioned above.
Lastly, Jaehyeong Lee is the maknae or youngest member and his musical instrument is the electric bass.
