Why Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s Trial is the Most-Watched Show

If Netflix hasn’t acquired the rights to do a documentary-series about this trial, they are missing out, because people care more about what the Hollywood duo have to say about each other and what dirty laundry they are going to expose, than the Supreme Court reversing Roe vs Wade, or a war in Ukraine.

Why are people so invested in AMBER VS. DEPP?

For starters, the sense of justice being served. Whether Amber Heard was abused or not, the truth is she took that opportunity to boost her career and destroyed Depp’s.

Here you have some highlights:

• Amber Heard claimed she would give the $7 million she got when sued Depp for domestic violence to the Children’s Hospital and in reality never did.
• Amber Heard wrote a piece where she stated she had been a victim of domestic abuse. She didn’t mentioned Depp but implied it was him, causing him irreparable damage in his career.
• Depp sued Amber Heard for defamation for 50million.
• Heard has also filed a countersuit.
• The trial is taking place in Virginia’s Fairfax County Courthouse, and runs Monday through Thursday, starting at 9 AM E.T.
• Judge Penney S. Azcarate has told the Hollywood actors and their respective legal teams that she wanted closing arguments to take place on May 27.

And someone who is getting a lot of spotlight is Depp’s attorney, Camille Vazquez a 37-year-old, who is an associate at high-profile law firm Brown Rudnick. Vasquez specializes in litigation and arbitration and her focus is on plaintiff-side defamation cases.

Vasquez graduated from Southwestern Law School in 2010 and the University of Southern California in 2006 Magna Cum Laude.Vazquez launched the second day of Heard’s cross-examination Tuesday and she became an internet sensation. Depp’s fans are speculating if the two of them are dating and rooting for them to do so!
