JLo, Shakira, Bad Bunny and J Balvin Light Up Halftime Show with Latino Pride

The 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show was absolutely unforgettable. Shakira kicked off the performance with She Wolf and the first guest was Bad Bunny! The last big Latin music wave happened in the 90’s with Ricky Martin, JLo, Enrique Iglesias and Marc Anthony, but now it’s more than just a wave – it’s Latino music front and center at the Super Bowl with two icons leading the way. This might be the definitive moment where Latin music officially takes over the pop music scene.
We were also reminded that Shakira is a legit musician shredding on the guitar and then throwing down on the drums during the “Let’s Get Loud” performance.
