During a recent press event in Mexico City, Lopez and her “Atlas” co-star Simu Liu were quick to shut down a reporter who inquired about the divorce rumors. Liu responded, “OK, we’re not doing that. Thank you so much. We really appreciate it … come on, don’t come in here with that energy,” while Lopez herself firmly added, “You know better than that.”

In Touch magazine was among the first to report that Affleck had moved out of the home he shares with Lopez due to marital issues. An insider claimed that the relationship was over and suggested that this time Affleck wasn’t to blame. The source mentioned Affleck’s focus is on his work and family and suggested that Lopez’s inability to control him and his inability to change her point to their differences being irreconcilable.
Speculations regarding the couple’s potential split suggest that their different perspectives towards media attention may have been a major factor. Lopez has welcomed the spotlight on their romance, financing her $20 million Prime Video musical film “This Is Me… Now: A Love Story” and releasing an album of the same name.
