Meet Comedian Jack Jr
Jack Assadourian Jr., a comedian of Armenian and Mexican descent, has gained a steady following thanks to his insightful perspective and witty observations about life. Raised by comedy club owners in Southern California, Jack Jr.’s multicultural background helped shape his comedic journey and gave him the determination to prove his worth in the business. His stand-up routines often include stories and experiences that resonate with people from different backgrounds.
Jack Jr. shared, “I’m happy, I’m genuinely happy. I’m more happy because my mother-in-law, when I first started dating my wife, she was like, ‘What do you do?’, and I said ‘I’m a comedian’. She goes ‘How much do you make?’. I go ‘like $3000 a month’. And she goes ‘That’s nothing’. And then she made me feel like I was a loser. But now, she goes like ‘Can I be your assistant?’”

Jack has appeared on platforms such as Netflix Is A Joke, Epix’s “Sex Life” and Amazon Prime Video’s “Laugh After Dark” and “Make America Laugh Again.” Besides touring the country with renowned comedians such as Marlon Wayans, Brandon T. Jackson, Damon Wayans Jr, and David Spade, he has also begun acting and writing.
But that’s not all he’s done! He was the 2019 finalist on the NBC show “Stand Up,” has created the NoHo Comedy Festival, starred in the movie “50 Shades of Black,” and participated in popular podcasts like “The Church of What’s Happening Now with Joey Diaz” and “ About Last Night” with Adam Ray.
However, as he revealed in our interview, Jack’s passion goes beyond just comedy. “I volunteer as a coach in Burbank Parks and Recs. I help kids that don’t have fathers. So, in my free time, I go and I coach kids. I coach my own kids, I got stepkids. I love being a coach, a father figure,” he recalled.
And added: “You know what’s funny, right now? My stepkids, I don’t call them stepkids, I call them my kids. But they call me Jack. But since my social media has been blowing up, they go ‘Oh, look, it’s my dad!’. All of a sudden.”
Cristina Rodlo opens up about her life on The Big Deal
Joining Jack Jr. on The Big Deal is the talented actress Cristina Rodlo, who has been working in both Mexican and American entertainment industries. Even though her breakout roles were in Mexico, in shows such as “Vuelve Temprano” and “El Vato,” Cristina has inserted herself in Hollywood, now known for the Paramount series “Halo.”

Rodlo was born in Torreón in Coahuila, northern Mexico, and always knew she wanted to be an actress. Even though she won a scholarship to go to New York at a very young age, her parents couldn’t afford it. She eventually left Mexico after she turned 18 when a local politician financed her trip. After graduating from the American Musical And Dramatic Academy, she returned to Mexico and landed her first acting roles, such as in the film “Perdida.”
After six years, Cristina transitioned to Hollywood, participating in acclaimed projects like “Miss Bala,” with co-star Gina Rodríguez, and Amazon Prime’s “Too Old to Die Young.” Currently, Rodlo shines as Corporal Talia Perez, a specialist in linguistics for the United Nations Space Command, in the hit Paramount+ series “Halo.”
