In The Heights and HBO Max Give Away Lottery Tickets!

On Friday, June 11th, In The Heights, together with the HBO Max Pa’lante! Initiative bought thousands of scratch-off lottery tickets from 3 local stores in US cities that have influential Mexican-American communities. One of these cities is LOS ANGELES! These little shops then gave away lottery tickets to their customers – so were you one of the lucky winners!?

So if you are an angeleno, we hope you were able to get to DTLA  on Friday, because located in the heart of the city, there is a gem for those who love candy; Fiesta Patrón, a one-stop shop for all Mexican and fiesta related things; candy, piñatas, piggy banks, handmade goods, chips and soft drinks, all coming straight from México. The store is owned by the Bernal family and her 22 year old daughter runs the show.
