Shop With Purpose on June 21st and Support Immigrant Communities

Rizos Curls and Kids of Immigrants are teaming up to do something big, and they’re inviting the whole community to join in. On June 21, more than 80 fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands will donate 100% of their online profits to organizations supporting immigrant rights. It’s called It’s Bigger Than Us, and it’s all about showing up for our people.

The movement is rooted in a belief that’s easy to get behind: fashion and beauty brands don’t just reflect culture, they are the culture. And when culture leads, people follow. This initiative calls on that influence, inviting consumers to make their purchases count and asking brands to show up for the communities that built them.
Rizos Curls, founded by Julissa Prado, has always centered Latine culture, natural beauty, and community. Kids of Immigrants, led by Weleh Dennis and Daniel Buezo, is equally known for mixing fashion with purpose, storytelling, and advocacy. Both brands are beloved not just for their products, but for their values and this movement only reinforces that.
The full list of participants is being updated in real time and will be shared widely before the big day. For shoppers, it’s an opportunity to support small businesses while contributing to the greater good. Win-win.

The lineup of participating brands is already impressive and growing. From beauty favorites like Reina Rebelde, Dezi Skin, and Untamed Naturals, to fashion-forward labels like Morena Mía, Persona the Shop, and BRONCA, each brand brings its own story, culture, and mission to the table.
Need some inspiration for what to buy? Think candles from Soy Latina Candles, handmade accessories from Coqueta Collective, bilingual books from Lil’ Libros, espadrilles with impact from BRONCA, or cruelty-free lashes from Lybre. You’ll also find community-rooted gems like Midcity Mercado’s Persona the Shop, the cultural pride of Santana & Co., or the delicious chamoy treats from Jovy Candy.

And this isn’t just about brands in L.A. or NYC. Companies from across the country (and even internationally) are coming together to amplify one message: immigrants are essential, and our communities thrive when we support each other.
Beyond the shopping, “It’s Bigger Than Us” is a cultural moment. It’s a reminder that community care doesn’t have to be performative, it can be practical. That every small purchase can have a big impact. That solidarity isn’t seasonal. It’s everyday.
So whether you’re picking up a new lip color, a bold tee, or something handmade with love, know that your purchase on June 21 is an act of support, pride, and purpose.
Let’s keep proving that when our communities come together, we’re unstoppable.
