iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina 2023: A Night of Stars, Songs, and Celebrations

The tenth annual iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina celebrated the best in Latin music on Saturday evening with performances by Yandel, Ricardo Montaner, Olga Tañón, Fonseca, Servando y Florentino, Luis Figueroa, GALE, Menudo and iHeartRadio Corazón Latino Award recipient Chayanne, at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida on Saturday, October 21. Enrique Santos, President and Chief Creative Officer of iHeartLatino and on-air talent for iHeartRadio, hosted the event celebrating the power of Latin music in popular culture.

iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina on Hulu
iHeartMedia’s Spanish Contemporary Hits, Tropical, Regional Mexican, Tejano and Spanish Oldies radio stations broadcasted the event live in their local markets and on iHeartRadio.com. Additionally, the iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina broadcasted across iHeartRadio digital stations including Beso, El Patron, Salsa Bembe, Rumba, Reggaeton Vieja Escuela, La Preciosa, Tejano Radio, La Mezcla Fuego con Dj Xtreme, Latino Top 20, Tropical Top 20 and Regional Mexican Top 20. For the first time, Hulu served as the Official Streaming Destination of the iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina, adding to its already robust slate of live event content, with performances livestreamed exclusively to Hulu subscribers at no additional cost.
iHeartRadio Corazón Latino Award
This year, iHeartMedia and Enrique Santos presented Chayenne with the iHeartRadio Corazón Latino Award Presented by Café Bustelo. The award honors an individual who exemplifies their big heart through their selfless work enhancing the lives of the Latin community and beyond. Chayanne, a world renowned Puerto Rican singer-songwriter, TV star and actor, has solidified his success with more than 50 million albums sold, sold-out tours and hundreds of music industry awards. Outside of music, Chayanne uses his voice to shine a light on organizations he is passionate about. He was a spokesperson for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and has been involved in the Make-A-Wish Foundation, United Nations Human Rights for Climate Change, Women Refugees Commission, Heroes Por la Vida, campaign promoting the importance of being an organ donor, and Teleton in Mexico, Chile and the U.S. Additionally, he is an active member of the cabinet for the American Red Cross, from whom he received the Crystal Cross Award in 2018. Chayanne has also participated in the American Red Cross’ 100 Days of Summer campaign since 2014 to encourage the Latin community to donate blood.

The 2023 iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina was a night to remember, filled with electrifying performances, heartwarming moments, and a celebration of Latin music and culture. Here are some of the highlights from the event:
Menudo’s Grand Entrance: The new generation of Menudo, the Miami-based boy band, kicked off the festivities with a bang. With members ranging from 10 to 15 years old, they showcased their dancing prowess and vocal talents with songs like “Mi Amore” and “Tu Y Yo,” which are set to feature on their upcoming debut album.

GALE’s Musical Versatility: Singer-songwriter GALE showcased her musical range by picking up the guitar and jamming with her band. She performed tracks from her recent album, Lo Que No Te Dije, including the hit “Problemas.” Fans also got to hear her other popular songs like “Nuestra Cancion” and “Inmadura.”

Fonseca’s Dance Party: Colombian pop sensation Fonseca ensured that the dance floor was packed throughout his set. With the support of his live band, he delivered energetic renditions of songs like “Eres Mi Sueño” and “Vine a Buscarte.”

Ricardo Montaner’s Serenade: Offering a change of pace, Ricardo Montaner serenaded the audience with his timeless classics. The Venezuelan singer’s emotional performance of “Me Va a Extrañar” was a standout moment.

Olga Tañón’s Illuminating Performance: Olga Tañón’s set was a visual and auditory treat. She began with a mesmerizing rendition of “Mi Eterno Amor Secreto,” accompanied by Flamenco singer Pitingo and dancers with illuminated wings.

Servando y Florentino’s Tribute: The salsa duo paid homage to their Venezuelan roots during their performance. Spotting members of Menudo holding a Venezuelan flag in the crowd, they took the flag and waved it, paying tribute to their homeland.

Yandel’s Reggaetón Extravaganza: Yandel took fans on a journey through his extensive music catalog. From classic Wisin Y Yandel tracks to his latest hits like “Borracho y Loco,” he had everyone grooving.
