Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and, for many, it is a day that is celebrated as a couple, but we cannot forget that it is also a time to celebrate friendship or even falling in love with yourself. In Spanish it is called el Día del Amor y la Amistad. This is where Galentine’s Day comes in, and this amigas holiday is gaining more strength by the year. 

What is Galentine’s Day?

The official day is February 13th, one day before everyone goes out to celebrate with their actual love partner. But this time is about celebrating your girlfriends! And this is how “Galentine’s day” was born, a day for bffs to have a great time celebrating their achievements and friendship. Little by little, the date has become much more important (even on the weekend before), groups of friends get together to celebrate with each other, give gifts, eat and do their favorite activities.

How to celebrate Galentine’s Day
