Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at Walt Disney World

This Hispanic & Latin American Heritage Month, Walt Disney World Resort is embracing cultura, música, sabor and magia with a full calendar of special experiences. From September 15 through October 15, familias visiting the resort can enjoy lively performances, exclusive food and drink offerings, vibrant art, and beloved characters that reflect the richness of Hispanic and Latin heritage. While Disney celebrates Latin-inspired traditions year-round, this month brings it all to life in every park and beyond.

A Musical Kickoff with Bacilos

The month began in grand style at Magic Kingdom Park, where Grammy Award-winning duo Bacilos served as grand marshals for the Festival of Fantasy parade. Jorge Villamizar and André López waved to guests, hugged Disney characters, and set the tone for a month-long fiesta. Later that evening, Bacilos took the stage at EPCOT’s International Food & Wine Festival as part of the Eat to the Beat Concert Series presented by Florida Blue, giving fans a chance to sing and dance along to their Latin pop hits.

EPCOT is the heart of the fiesta, with multiple shows and flavors to enjoy. At CommuniCore Plaza Stage, families can join ¡Celebración Encanto!, a sing-along and dance experience with songs from the film and appearances from the Madrigal family. At the Mexico Pavilion, Mariachi Cobre fills the air with traditional folk music from Jalisco.

Joining Bacilos, the Eat to the Beat Concert Series presents more Latin talent than ever before, including La Calle Band from September 16-18, Sheila E from September 19-20, Jesse & Joy will return to the stage September 28-29 and Latin Ambition will conclude October 14-16.

Foodies can explore Latin-inspired dishes across the International Food & Wine Festival, from Peruvian ceviche at Coastal Eats to adobo yuca fries at The Fry Basket and a new tostada de carnitas at the Mexico pavilion. Special PhotoPass Magic Shots with Mirabel, Bruno, and Isabela add even more magic to EPCOT’s celebrations.
