What happens when a storm meets an attorney?

You get one of the best duos in the WOW (Women of Wrestling).

Women of Wrestling known as WOW is an American wrestling promotion founded back in 2000. The world of WOW highlights women in wrestling to the fullest. Showing the world what women are capable of in the ring and how they get down on the canvas. WOW is filled with amazing women from all walks of life and extraordinary backgrounds.

Tormenta (storm in Spanish) is the Mexican sensation taking over the world of WOW. Born in Guadalajara, Tortmenta brings experience and passion into the ring. Before taking over the wrestling scene in WOW, she was wrestling in her home country of Mexico for 15 years. After dominating the competition in Mexico’s premier wrestling promotion AAA, she realized her dream was to wrestle in the United States. Tormenta would need help heading north to chase her dreams.

On this episode of Ganadoras, our host Nour Milla met with these Ganadoras of Women of Wrestling, who talked about their career and experience and how they decided to be wrestlers despite the blows and injuries. These Mexican warriors decided to enter the world of “La Lucha Libre” until WOW became their greatest passion.

What better help than “The World’s Greatest Attorney”? Sophia Lopez like her Mexican counterpart is leaving her mark in WOW. Lopez has skills that make her a superstar in and out of the ring. She can speak into the mic get the crowd going and hold her own inside of the ring when needed. Lopez is a manager in WOW, her role is to lead her clients to the top of the sport and support them emotionally, physically, and mentally.

Lopez once worked in the Las Vegas Public Defenders office. She worked with numerous celebrities in Vegas and earned her nickname “The World’s Greatest Attorney.”

The mystic of Lopez continued to grow as she met Delta Lotta Pain and Loca, known collectively to WOW fans as Caged Heat. “The two always claimed they were wrongly accused,” according to wowe.com. “But it seemed they were destined to spend their life rotting in prison. However, Sophia believed in their innocence and decided to get involved. Her incredibly detailed knowledge of the law and slick legal abilities brought swift justice for the pair, and Caged Heat was soon released from the Nevada Correctional Facility.”

Lopez’s skills were once again called upon when Tormenta was stuck in Mexico trying to migrate to the States. Lopez’s extensive knowledge of immigration law helped get Tormenta into the WOW ring.

Tormenta and Lopez now are drawing interest from the fans and the roster of WOW. They are leaving it out there every match and mic appearance. The duo has found a place they can call home and thrive in. There is no stopping this storm until they get the title of WOW World Champion.
