Fonseca’s New Single “Si Tú Me Quieres” is His Dream Collab with Juan Luis Guerra

Colombian singer-songwriter Fonseca has teamed up with the legendary Dominican artist Juan Luis Guerra for a brand new single that is sure to get fans excited. The track, titled “Si Tú Me Quieres,” is a lively and upbeat song that perfectly showcases both artists’ unique folkloric styles for a heart-felt song with lots of accordeón and timbales. A fusion of classic Latin rhythms with modern pop beats.

Fonseca shared he has have been eagerly anticipating this collaboration for years, and his patience has finally paid off.

The multiple Latin Grammy Award-winner, expressed his excitement about working with Guerra on the new track. “Sharing this song with maestro Juan Luis Guerra is a dream come true for me… hearing his voice in this song is something really exciting and it’s a song that somehow shows the influence his music has had on mine,” Fonseca told LATV Host Carolina Trejos.

Guerra, also shared his enthusiasm for the collaboration.

“I received the invitation from Fonseca to sing in this song and when I heard it I realized that it was a very beautiful song; one of the most beautiful that I have been invited to do. It is always a pleasure to work with him… he has one of the most beautiful voices I know and I hope that this duet is to everyone’s liking,” Juan Luis Guerra pointed out in turn.
