Meet co-host Arisce Wanzer
Wanzer, hailing from Woodbridge, Virginia, fell in love with fashion and modeling at age 14 when watch the Victoria’s Secret Show. However, she discovered her true identity amidst the vibrant energy of Miami’s LGBTQ+ scene, which she calls the “Trans Mecca,” when people asked her when she would transition. At age 19, she came out to her mother, who was loving and supportive. Her journey, marked by self-discovery and acceptance, culminated in love and matrimony with her “hot Aussie actor” husband, John Harding.

Who is Laith Ashley de la Cruz?
Laith Ashley de la Cruz, our special guest, defies stereotypes as a model, actor, singer-songwriter and trans activist of Dominican descent. His upbringing was in Harlem, with a Catholic and Christian family, to whom he finally came out as trans in 2013. He then began transitioning and changed his name.

Finally being himself, he made groundbreaking achievements in the fashion world, modeling for brands like Calvin Klein and Diesel, and magazines such as GQ and Vogue. Laith has also touched into music, with his biggest high being the love interest in the Taylor Swift music video “Lavender Haze.”
Through his activism, he amplifies the voices of marginalized communities, advocating for greater visibility and representation on and off the runway. He worked with FLUX, a division of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, which is dedicated to raising awareness and providing support to trans and gender-nonconforming people, actively takes part in Pride parades, and has talked on numerous occasions of the dangers of transphobia and visibility of ethnic minorities.
