Chiquis Rivera takes Foodie On The Go to new flavors and new cities

Season two expands Chiquis’ mission: amplify Hispanic-owned eateries

LatiNation’s hit culinary travel series Foodie On The Go is back for a highly anticipated second season, once again hosted by the ever-charismatic Chiquis Rivera. After a successful first season that delighted fans with its mix of culinary exploration, heartfelt storytelling, and vibrant cultural spotlights, the Latin GRAMMY-winning singer and television personality is ready to take audiences on another flavorful adventure across the United States.

The show’s first season saw Chiquis exploring iconic restaurants, tasting unforgettable dishes, and even stepping into kitchens to prepare some of her favorite recipes. With each stop, she not only celebrated food but also the stories of resilience, culture, and community behind the dishes. It quickly became clear that Foodie On The Go was more than a cooking show but a love letter to food as a cultural connector.

In season two, the series expands on that mission. Chiquis continues to spotlight Hispanic-owned restaurants and small businesses, amplifying the voices of chefs and owners whose work represents both tradition and innovation.

A standout moment this season comes when she visits Paradise Cove in Malibu, a restaurant that had to be rebuilt after the devastating wildfires. Against the backdrop of the legendary California coastline, Chiquis learns how food and resilience intertwine, preparing a tuna poké bowl and a refreshing pineapple mojito while honoring the community’s recovery journey.

“Me gusta comer, viajo mucho, hay que hacer [de] esto un show y así es como nació,” Chiquis explained in an interview when reflecting on the creation of the series. What began as a natural extension of her love for food and travel has blossomed into a platform for cultural pride and culinary storytelling.

Each 30-minute episode takes viewers to a different city, ranging from Las Vegas to Miami and Chicago, showcasing a wide spectrum of eateries. From five-star restaurants to food trucks and neighborhood gems, Chiquis makes it clear that every plate tells a story worth sharing. And with her warm presence, she connects seamlessly with the people behind the food, making each episode as much about human connection as it is about culinary delight.

Foodie On The Go is available to stream on LatiNation’s free app, ensuring that fans everywhere can join Chiquis on her journey. With season two, the show promises to be even bigger, bolder, and more delicious, an authentic celebration of food, family, and culture.

Beyond her work as a host, Chiquis Rivera continues to make waves as an artist and entrepreneur. The daughter of the late Jenni Rivera, she has won multiple Latin GRAMMYs, including for her albums Abeja Reina and Playlist. In 2024, she released her latest project, Diamantes, further cementing her status as one of the most dynamic figures in Latin music. She’s also a New York Times best-selling author with her memoirs Perdón and Forgiveness.
