CDC says Fully Vaccinated People Can Take the Mask off!

Numerous news outlets are reporting that the Center for Disease Control is easing mask-wearing guidelines for fully vaccinated people. In places such as hospitals, busses, prison, homeless shelters, and planes people will still be required to wear masks, but in workplaces schools and other venues, people who are fully vaccinated will no longer be required to wear masks. Fully vaccinated here means two weeks from your final dose of any of the widely available vaccines. 

This Thursday it was Dr. Rochelle Walensky from the CDC who make the announcement of the new “Anyone who is fully vaccinated can participate in indoor and outdoor activities – large or small – without wearing a mask or physically distancing… If you are fully vaccinated, you can start doing the things that you had stopped doing because of the pandemic.”

In California, Governor Newsom had just recently announced that as soon as June 15th there would be no more mask mandate. So it’s great to know him and the CDC are on the same page.
