Meet the Cast of Sky Rojo, the New Netflix Series

From the creators of La Casa de Papel (Money Heist), Alex Pina and Esther Martínez Lopato, Sky Rojo is the new Spanish Netflix series that promises to be one of the best series of the year.

Sky Rojo soundtrack is short and full of sensuality, adventure and action songs headed by none other than Rosalía and J Balvin’s music.

Sky Rojo tells the story of three prostitutes, a Spanish, a Cuban and an Argentinean who decide to flee on an uncertain road trip, seeking to free themselves from their past at Club Las Novias.

The series’ main characters, Coral, Wendy and Gina, are three tough Latinas who have lived a life full of violent and treacherous situations. Before fleeing, they hurt Romero, the nightclub pimp, further complicating their escapade. Romeo, along with Moisés and Christian, become hunting dogs and they will pursue them until they get revenge on the girls.

Here’s what you need to know about the cast of Sky Rojo.

Wendy: Lali Esposito  

Daring, strong, and challenging. She arrives at the club not knowing that she will end up kidnapped there. Her goal is to get out of poverty and build another life with her partner.

Coral: Verónica Sánchez  

Smart and educated, Coral has a self-destructive behavior linked to drugs. She is the favorite of the leader of the nightclub and that will work in her favor. The Club Las Novias becomes her refuge to escape from the past.

Gina – Yany Prado 

Gina’s main characteristic is her naivety. She is captured in Cuba by Moisés and she travels to Spain thinking that she will work as a waitress. She needs to leave the club behind, but she owes Romero and doesn’t have her passport on hand.

Romero – Asier Etxeandia 

He is the one that moves all the strings of the Club Las Novias, the most famous brothel in Tenerife. Smart, ironic and without any morals or values.

Moises – Miguel Angel Silvestre  

Moises is Romeo’s henchman, runs the business and recruits girls abroad. He would be capable of anything for his boss and, although sometimes he doubts if what he does is correct, he always ends up obeying Romero’s orders.

Miguel Angel is one of the Spanish fashion interpreters who, by the way, will also be in the fifth installment of La Casa de Papel, Velvet and Sense8.

Christian – Enric Auquer 

He is Moises’ brother, aggressive and always on the verge of exploding. He lacks morality and is ambitious. He feels inferior to his brother and is capable of anything to feel valued.
