The eagerly awaited biographical series Chespirito: Sin Querer Queriendo is set to premiere worldwide on Max this June 5. This eight-episode series gives a close-up look at the life and career of Roberto Gómez Bolaños, the mastermind behind some of Latin America’s most beloved TV characters. The series covers his life from childhood into the 1980s, highlighting his journey through the early days of television, the challenges of fame, and the intricacies of his personal life.

Pablo Cruz Guerrero as Roberto Gómez Bolaños

Pablo Cruz Guerrero steps into the shoes of Roberto Gómez Bolaños, famously known as Chespirito. With a solid background in biographical series, including a role in Luis Miguel: The Series, Cruz adds depth to his portrayal of the iconic comedian. His previous works feature telenovelas like Palabra de Mujer, Querida Amiga, and Cuando Me Enamoro, along with series like Pobres Divas and El Hotel de los Secretos.

Paulina Dávila as Graciela Fernández

Paulina Dávila takes on the role of Graciela Fernández, Chespirito’s first wife. Known for her roles in Luis Miguel: The Series and An Unknown Enemy, Dávila brings her impressive talent to this key role. In her home country of Colombia, she has been recognized for her performances in Savage Rhythm and Griselda, the Netflix series led by her cousin Sofía Vergara, where she portrayed Isabel Roxana.

Andrea Noli as Angelines González Fernández (The Witch of 71)

Andrea Noli embodies Angelines González Fernández, famously known as ‘The Witch of 71’ from ‘El Chavo del 8’. Noli’s career began with ‘Muchachitas’ in 1991, and she has since become a staple in Mexican television, starring in comedies like ‘Mau’ and ‘Meows of Love’ and telenovelas such as ‘Forbidden Kisses’ and ‘Like in the Movies’.
