“There’s no way to exist as a singer-songwriter without expressing my Colombianidad,” Camilo on his new documentary

Latin Grammy Award winning artist Camilo has given his fans a full access ticket to his private life in the HBO Max documentary released on Friday, Camilo: El Primer Tour de Mi Vida (The First Tour of My Life). The Colombian musician has millions of fans who support him, love his music and want to know details of his life. This new doc is what they needed.
“The most sacred thing in my life is happening behind the scenes, behind the lights and explosions at packed concerts. What happens behind is the human side. That’s what I think a documentary is so important, because, as an artist, I can open the doors to the most private places in my life to my audience,” Camilo told LATV’s Sin City Series.
In the film, Camilo narrates in first person how his first international tour ‘Mis Manos Tour’ has been. His life behind the scenes is filled with lots of family life, as he is married to Evaluna Montaner, the only daughter of the iconic Venezuelan singer Ricardo Montaner, giving him entry into the Montaner clan, a family of musicians.
The Medellín native has visited more than 60 cities and performed 64 concerts, where he has had the opportunity to share the stage with artists such as Mau y Ricky, Pablo Alborán, Nicky Nicole, among others, highlighting his Latino roots with pride.
