Bridgerton Soundtrack: Every Song You Need to Know

After leaving Disney, producer Shonda Rhimes and her empire, Shondaland, already have their very first series for Netflix: Bridgerton, which just became the streaming platform’s biggest show ever.

The story is based on Julia Quinn’s novels (eight in total, so for all of the fans out there, there is a series for a while), which narrates the life of Daphne, the eldest daughter of the powerful Bridgerton family. The series is also such a telenovela that may be reminiscent of Gossip Girl, but it’s from the creator of Gray’s Anatomy.

Apart from the intricate plotline, the 1800’s fashion during the Regency era of England, the sex scenes and so much more, Bridgerton’s soundtrack has caught everyone’s attention. 

If you watched the series already, you may notice versions of songs like the well-known “Bad Guy” by Billie Eilish, but performed with a string quartet, also “Girls Like You,” by Maroon 5, my personal favorite. The original soundtrack was composed by Kris Bowers, known for his work on the film Green Book (winner of the Oscar for best picture in 2019).
