Let’s start by explaining what the bad sugars are…bad sugars are any form of processed sugar that has been stripped from its natural elements and has been chemically modified. The most common one is refined cane sugar. However, there are many others that might not be so easily recognizable. Here is a list of other refined sugars you should avoid as much as you can:
- Brown sugar syrup
- Rice syrup
- Dextrose
- Corn Syrup
- Fructose
- Maltose
- Dextrose
- Palm sugar
- Barley Malt
As you can see, it’s not as obvious to spot these highly processed sugars. Thankfully we can enjoy some healthier sugar alternatives like:
