Bad Bunny’s Parents Tito and Lysaurie: Who are they?

Happy National Parents Day! If you don’t know who Bad Bunny is by now, you must be living under a rock. The singer is one of the most well-known artists in the world, having the most streams on Spotify for three years in a row.

Benito has helped reggaetón and Latino music in general reach every corner of the Earth and has put Latin America and its music in the international spotlight. However, even though Bad Bunny’s career and success are common knowledge by now, you might not know about his upbringing and childhood.

Who must we thank for creating Benito? Meet Bad Bunny’s parents:

Bad Bunny’s parents are Tito Martínez and Lysaurie Ocasio. Tito is a truck driver, and Lysaurie is a retired English schoolteacher. They are both from Puerto Rico, and they met in their hometown of Vega Baja. Together, they have three children: Benito, Bernie, and Bysael.

Bad Bunny was born in 1994 in Vega Baja and, while he grew up in a humble, working-class family, he remembers having a nice childhood, away from the streets and surrounded by his closest affections. He attended public school, and he enjoyed playing video games and hanging out with his friends. When he got older and became successful, he rewarded his parents by giving them the life that they deserved.

Benito was always interested in music and sang in the church choir when he was a child after his religious mother encouraged him to do so. Salsa, merengue, and ballad songs were also played in the family home.

The singer has always had a close relationship with his parents. He has stated that they are very supportive of his music career and that they are his biggest fans. However, this hasn’t always been the case, as Tito and Lysaurie didn’t allow Benito to listen to reggaeton when he was a child, and he had to listen to it in secret.

His parents are now very proud of his accomplishments and celebrate his successes. Both are still very involved in his life. They often attend his concerts, and they are always there to offer him advice. They are also very supportive of his charitable work, and they have helped him raise money for several different causes.

In addition to his parents, Bad Bunny has two younger brothers. Bernie is a graphic designer, and Bysael is a student. He also has a large extended family in Puerto Rico, and is very close to his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
