This year, Bad Bunny has secured eight nominations. He’s up for Record of the Year for his single “Monaco,” Best Urban Album for “Nadie sabe la que va a pasar mañana,” and Best Short Music Video for “Baticano,” amongst six others.

Bad Bunny’s Latin Grammy Wins and Nominations Over the Years

2017-2018 Nominations

Bad Bunny was first nominated in 2017 and 2018 in the Best Urban Fusion/Performance category. Songs like “Si Tu Novio Te Deja Sola” and “Sensualidad” showed his early appeal and gave the fans a taste of what was to come in his musical career.

2019 (20th Latin Grammys)

This was the year Bad Bunny won his first Latin Grammy for Best Urban Music Album with X 100Pre. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of reggaeton, a genre that was often overlooked by the Grammy committee but has deep roots in Latin culture. The evening marked a turning point for urban Latin music, as big names like J Balvin and Daddy Yankee echoing Bad Bunny’s words and voicing support for reggaeton’s deserved recognition.

2020 (21st Latin Grammys)

Bad Bunny didn’t disappoint with his look. His “Angel Energy” attire was a collaboration with Mexican clothing brand Liberal Youth Ministry and was adorned with 150,000 Swarovski crystals, all sewn in by hand. He performed his hit “Bichiyal” on a racetrack, arriving in a white Bugatti while being surrounded by masked women on ATVs. Then he switched it up with “Si Veo a Tu Mamá,” accompanied by older women playing string instruments on a baseball field set. That year, he snagged a win for Best Reggaeton Performance with “Yo Perreo Sola.”

2021 (22nd Latin Grammys)

Bad Bunny stole the show with his “Mickey Mouse” all-black outfit featuring Burberry ears. He won Best Rap/Hip Hop Song for “Booker T” and Best Urban Music Album for El Último Tour Del Mundo. The night was a nod to his sense of fashion and his role in redefining Latin trap and reggaeton on an international level.

2022 (23rd Latin Grammys)

This was a huge year for Benito, with 10 nominations and 5 wins. Notable victories included Best Urban Song for “Titi Me Preguntó,” Best Rap/Hip Hop Song for “De Museo,” and Best Urban Music Album with Un Verano Sin Ti. But even though he was the most-nominated artist that year, fans missed out on seeing him in person, as he didn’t attend the event.

2023 (24th Latin Grammys)

Bad Bunny continued his winning streak, receiving awards for Best Regional Song with “Un X100to” and Best Rap/Hip Hop Song with “Coco Chanel.” Other notable nominations included “La Jumpa” in categories like Best Urban Fusion/Performance and Best Urban Song. But the most prestigious nomination was undoubtedly for Song of the Year with “Un X100to.”
