Ashley Biden and Bernie Sanders Make a Fashion Statement

This Inauguration Day will go down in history for many things; everyone wearing masks, first female VP to be sworn in, the absence of the Cheeto…and the fashion. Let’s not forget the fashion.  Even though there were many chic outfits, Ashley Biden and Bernie Sanders’ were by far, the winners.

Senator Bernie Sanders was wearing a pair of cozy wool mittens, sitting back in a folding chair and wearing a blue surgical mask looking like he would rather be drinking a hot chocolate, and Ashley Biden was rocking a chic tuxedo.

Biden’s tuxedo is by Ralph Lauren, according to Harper’s Bazaar, and features a cropped cigarette pant and an open bow tie. The president’s daughter paired the effortlessly cool look with black stilettos and a high ponytail. And everyone went crazy. “Poll: should I throw away my wedding dress and buy Ashley Biden’s tux instead?” one person tweeted. “I have wanted a feminine tux for a while, and so I am absolutely dying over how amazing Ashley Biden’s is,” another person tweeted.

And Sanders, of course. His cozy-don’t-bother-me look kept the meme world very busy!
