All Eyes on Latinos as July Brings Heat to Sports Fans Worldwide

July 2025 is shaping up to be a huge month for sports fans, with some of the world’s biggest events taking center stage, many showcasing top Latino talent.

Club World Cup – USA

June 15 – July 13, 2025

The 2025 Club World Cup is heating up in the U.S. with 32 teams, and Latino players are making their presence felt. 

European clubs are also packed with Latino stars, such as Atlético Madrid (De Paul, Julián Álvarez, Ángel Correa), PSG (Marquinhos), Real Madrid (Fede Valverde, Vinícius Júnior), Benfica (Otamendi, Di María), Chelsea (Enzo Fernández), Juventus (Nicolás González), Inter (Lautaro Martínez), and Manchester City (Claudio Echeverri). And, off course, Inter Miami brings the biggest names with Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez.

The knockout rounds start with the quarterfinals on July 4-5, the semifinals on July 8-9, and the final on July 13 at MetLife Stadium.

Wimbledon 2025 – London, England

June 30 – July 13, 2025

Wimbledon is back, and Latino players are set to shine. On the men’s side: Francisco Cerundolo, Sebastian Baez, Tomas Martin Etcheverry, Camilo Ugo Carabelli, Francisco Comesana, and Mariano Navone are representing Argentina. Chile’s Alejandro Tabilo and Nicolas Jarry, Brazil’s Joao Fonseca and Thiago Monteiro, and Bolivia’s Hugo Dellien are also in action.

For the women: Brazil’s Beatriz Haddad Maia leads the charge, with Colombia’s Camila Osorio and Emiliana Arango, and Mexico’s Renata Zarazua joining the competition.

Tour de France

July 5 – July 27, 2025

The Tour de France returns for its epic three-week race across France and neighboring countries. Latino riders to keep an eye on include Jhonatan Narváez and Richard Carapaz from Ecuador, as well as Colombia’s Santiago Buitrago, Fernando Gaviria, Einer Rubio, Daniel Felipe Martínez, and Harold Tejada.

British Grand Prix: July 6, 2025

Belgian Grand Prix: July 27, 2025

In F1, Brazil’s Gabriel Bortoleto, the 2023 F3 champion, is on the rise with Kick Sauber, while Argentina’s Franco Colapinto, now with Alpine, is making headlines after an impressive run in Imola, Monaco, Spain, and Canada.

MLB All-Star Week – Atlanta, GA

The MLB All-Star Game returns to Atlanta’s Truist Park. The Midsummer Classic features the league’s top talent and Latino players have always been a huge part of the game, so prepare to see some familiar faces on this year’s rosters.

All-Star Week also includes the Futures Game (top Minor League prospects), Celebrity Softball Game, Home Run Derby, and the 95th All-Star Game on July 15. The Celebrity Softball, happening on July 12th, includes a lineup with Latin music stars Eladio Carrión, Young Miko, Myke Towers, and Wisin.

July 2025 is packed with action, and Latino athletes will be front and center on some of the biggest stages in the sports world.
