2022 Latin GRAMMY Awards Kickoff Recap

Latin music’s biggest week of the year, the 23rd Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards® Week continues from Las Vegas, where artists are showcasing their new music and talents and our LATV team is bringing you the action from Sin City. Check out some photos from highlights of the week.

The week kicked off with the Presenters Press Conference with Anitta, Luis Fonsi, Laura Pausini and Thalía.

Camilo, Silvana Estrada, Carlos Vives and Nicole Zignano; Anitta; and Nicky Jam with the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation scholarship winners Xavier Cintrón, Valentina García, Nicolle Horbath and Sergio De Miguel Jorquera showed up to the Mandalay Bay for the second day of rehearsals..

If there’s one thing the Recording Academy is known for is honoring Leading Ladies of Entertainment at a yearly event that recognizes professional and socially-conscious women within the arts and Latin entertainment fields. 

This year’s honorees were singer/songwriter and six-time Latin GRAMMY® winner Kany García; Global Head of Latin Music for Amazon Music, Rocío Guerrero; CEO of RLM, an artist management company, Rosa Lagarrigue; and pianist, arranger, musical director, Juan Luis Guerra’s co-producer, and nine-time Latin GRAMMY® winner, Janina Rosado.

The Best New Artist Showcase featured performances by the following Best New Artist nominees for the 23rd Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards®: Angela Álvarez, Sofía Campos, Cande y Paulo, Clarissa, Silvana Estrada, Pol Granch, Nabález, Tiare, Vale and Nicole Zignago.
