Latin GRAMMYS 2025: Rauw Alejandro and Elvis Crespo Lead Celebrity Soccer Match: ‘El Partido’

Las Vegas Latin GRAMMY® Awards week was kicked off with the first note by El Partido, Sony Music Latin-Iberia’s annual fusion of fútbol and flow at Cashman Field in Las Vegas. The event brought together some of the biggest names in Latin music for a match that was pure celebration lead by La Casa de los Artistas.
Artists, executives, and friends joined a showdown that turned into a festival of star power. Two dream teams hit the field: the white team, led by coach Tiago IORC with Rauw Alejandro as captain, and the black team, guided by Elvis Crespo and Beto Montenegro of RAWAYANA.
On the roster: Alemán, Alex Luna, Boza, Hodari, J Noa, Pablo Preciado of Matisse, TRUENO, Sistek, Nicole Zignago, Luck Ra, Lasso, and more — a group of talent stretching from Puerto Rico to Brazil, Mexico to Argentina. Even off the mic, you can tell these artists carry el ritmo in their veins and they sure brought it back to their teams at the field.
Rauw Alejandro’s signature flair set the tempo early, while Melissa Robles from Matisse drew cheers with her precision on the field. This was a reminder that when you put Latin artists in a stage or at the stadium, passion, unity, fire and flow will be in the menu!
The event, powered by ViX Música, PlayStation, Buchanan’s, and Univision, once again proved that the language of fútbol speaks to every corner of America. El Partido was the kick-off— in the truest sense— to the Latin Grammy Awards week, where culture, music, talent and celebration play the same team.
As the night closed over downtown Vegas, the score hardly mattered. The win was in the spirit — in every hug, high-five, and spontaneous freestyle that followed.
The Latin GRAMMY® week has officially begun, and the energy is unstoppable. Stay tuned for more LatiNation coverage directly from Las Vegas!
